How to register |
Registering as a New Player on the FFFL website.
Step 1:
Click on "Sign Up!" on the top-right hand corner of the the website to register. Registration will provide you with a username and password which will allow you to be placed on a team, receive important league emails ect.
Step 2:
In the "New User Signup" window enter the required information.
Note: A valid email is required to register. If you provide an invalid email address the site will not allow registration. To ensure that a valid email address is provided the site will send a confirmation email to the address provided. If the link in the confirmation email is not confirmed you cannot register.
Step 3:
Click in the box indicating "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy".
Step 4:
Click on "Sign Up!"
Step 5:
Log into your email account
Find the league email.
Open the email and click on the link under the heading: To confirm your email address and enable your user account, please click on the following link:
You should receive a statement to the effect of: "Your account has now been confirmed and you may proceed to login using the username and password sent to you by email".
Note: If you do not receive an email check your spam filter or ensure that you provided a correct email address
Logging on the Website.
Step 1:
Click on "Login" on the top-right hand corner of the the website.
Step 2:
Enter your username and password.
Note that options are available to have your password resent to you if you have forgotten it. You may also choose to have your password "remembered" on your computer.
Step 3:
Click on Login.
Note: The first time you login to the FFFL.ca website you will be required to agree to the Redzone Leagues Terms of Service Agreements. To do so check the box entitled "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy". (You should probably read it too!). You will not be required to complete this step after your first login.
Available Options
After registering you will have some options such as "My Profile" and "Register a Team" available (top right hand corner of the screen).
My Profile: You can edit your profile at any time using this option (change passwords, update email addresses and contact information, etc.)
Register a Team: If you are going to register a team then you can click on the link and follow the steps to register a new or existing team in an upcoming season.
After you have either registered/played a game in the FFFL additional options such the "My Stats", "My Schedule" and "My Teams" will become available.
My Stats: Provides all of the statistics you have accumulated across each of your teams for every season in the FFFL you have played. Start a FFFL career!
How to Add Yourself to a Team
Only team captains can add team members to the roster. You can however request to be added to a team so that the next time your team captain logs onto the FFFL website they will be provided with the option to accept you onto the roster.
Step 1:
Ensure that you are logged onto the FFFL website (you have entered your username and password).
Step 2:
Click on the "Teams" link on the navigation toolbar.
Step 3:
Click on the team you want to be added to.
Step 4:
Above the team roster you should find the following statement: "Are you a player who wants to play on this team but aren't yet on the roster? Click here to request to add yourself to this team."
Step 5:
Click on the link to request to be added to the roster.
Note: To eligible to play you MUST be on a roster. Teams using non-rostered players will be subjected to a default loss, minus two points in the standings and a minimum $75 fine.
